Final Project Final Attempt

    Here is my plain face
    with my prosthetic
    locations marked

Here I have done color
correction and blocked
my eyebrows

   Then I applied my prosthetics

Added foundation.
My prosthetics were a
lot closer color match
this time. Also added red
in the wound lines

    Then I added the black
    eye bruising and tried
    the blend the prosthetics
    a little better

Then I added the
old age lines, they
are bolder so they can
be seen from a distance

Then I finally applied my
eyebrow prosthetics

    Next I put the little
    white bark details in
    with soft black lining

Lastly I added the fake blood
on my nose and in two of
    the wounds. I also blended
    some black eyeliner into the
    bruise to make it darker

Final Project Prosthetic Fixes

    Here I have washed
    all my prosthetics
off to the best of my
    ability

I then repainted them
and constantly compared
them to a swatch on my
face. The only way I
could get the color to match
was to only half paint them

Final Project First Attempt

    Here my prosthetics
    are marked out and I
    have started to glue
    down my eyebrows

Here I have my eyebrows
blocked out

    Here I applied the
    wound prosthetics and
    I have started to add
    the foundation

Here all of the foundation
has been applied. The
prosthetics were not
the same color for
some reason

  Next I added the eyebrows,
the nose scratches, and the bark
  detailing. I also painted in
  the black eye

Final Project Formula Sheet

    Here is my final look
    formula sheet

Final Project Eyebrow Prosthetics

    I made this like normal
    hair prosthetics except
    with scrubby yarn

There are 3 layers total,
and then I trimmed
them so they were visually
interesting but still short
enough that I could see

    Then I painted them green.
There are 3 shades of green
on these, with darkest on the
    bottom and lightest on top

Final Project Wound and Knot Prosthetics

    Here are the clay bases
    for my prosthetics

Here I carved the
long scar for my forehead

I had to wait for the
    clay to dry to carve
    the knot into this

This is for the second
knot on my neck that has
wounds in it

    This took a long time
    to dry because of all
    of the nooks and crannies

Here is the 3 slice
wound prosthetic. It
started getting a little
rough because my latex
was running out

    I painted these all
    with my foundation color
and added red in the wound
    holes

Final Project Color Elevation Palette

    This ended up being very
    similar to my concept
    art palette

Final Project Color Elevation

    I traced this from my
    line elevations

Then I colored it in
and added the bruising
and bark details

Final Project Line Elevation

Here is the old age layer

Here is the prosthetic
and bruise layer

Here is both on top of each other

Final Project Concept Art

    My concept for this one
is an old tree who is
    dying from wounds

Project 3 Final Attempt

    First I did color
    correcting and marked
    where the prosthetics
    were going to be

Then I added my
very pale foundation

Then I put on my
prosthetics. I missed a
little bit with the second
eye because my vision
dropped significantly
when trying to apply it

    Then I added my
    chiseled face lines
to give my face a more
    masculine/androgynous
    look to it

Then I somehow was
able to thread the
ribbon on my cape by
feel and my look was
completed

    Then I blended my
    prosthetics to my
face to the best of my
    ability with my limited
    field of vision

Project 3 Supplies

    Here are all the supplies
I used for my project 3
    final application

Project 3 Formula Sheet

    This is my formula sheet
    for my project 3 look

Project 3 Holographic Cloak

    This costume piece was
    created from 3 separate
    pieces. 2 layers of
    holographic fabric
    and a fur piece for
    the collar

Here is how it all
hangs from the
back view

    Here is the front
    view. It is held up
    with ribbon lacing.
    I stabbed holes through
the fur with a knife and
then used a bobby pin to
    thread the ribbon through

Project 3 Line Elevation

    Here is my line elevation.
    There really isn't a lot
to this look so it isn't
    too complicated

Project 3 Antenna Prosthetic Coloring and Shaping

   I painted the latex
   in the center a slightly
   off-white color. I started
   with pure white but it
looked bad so I fixed it

Then I cut and shaped
the antenna so that
they looked more even
and where closer
to my reference pics

    Then I painted a thin
    pinkish-purply line
    up the center to match
    my color elevation and
    give it the 'stemmed' look
    that moth antenna have
